Our thanks go to Charles Hickson for a hugely enjoyable demonstration. Charles has recently been on holiday to Poreč, Croatia, and always produces a number of watercolour sketches from his travels.
For our demo, he took one of his paintings of Poreč and recreated it in acrylic, all the while entertaining the large number of attendees with insights into his painting style plus various hints and tips along the way.
If the great applause at the end was anything to go by, everyone thoroughly enjoyed his demonstration!
