I paint in a variety of media but have more recently concentrated on my love of plein air sketching. I believe this allows me to observe the here and now of my chosen venue, be that architectural, rural or a social gathering. Using pen and ink with the addition of watercolour washes allows me to bring depth and definition to an image. Although remaining true to the scene my style can also be interpretative.
