Julian has a solo exhibition

At the Rock Mill Centre (by the bus station in New Mills), Thursdays to Sundays, December 2025 and January 2026, 10am – 4pm.

‘Resonate’ is an accessible exploration of the often barely tangible things that either cause people to like a certain piece of artwork, or that prompt artists to create them. There are 18 paintings, landscapes based in New Mills, in oil or soft pastels.

Our members winning this summer

Two of our members have won awards this summer! David Steeden was voted the people’s favourite at the ‘Paint Knutsford’ contest. David’s painting ( ‘A Sunny Day in Knutsford’) was sold on the day and he has donated the proceeds to Breast Cancer.

Congratulations also go to Steve Ridgeway whose picture ’Bahamas over the Goyt’ won first prize at the Hadfield Open Art exhibition. Steve’s picture was also bought on the day.

Well done to both of you, an inspiration to us all to keep on painting!
